Here’s the pattern (over 14 stitches – stitch count does not include selvage stitches). For my scarf I did two repetitions, so I cast on 30 stitches and went on until I used up 2 skeins of Absolute yarn by Madil (10 ply wool/cashmere mix). You need to block it well for the pattern to shine :)
Row 1. k5 tbl, k2tog, yo, yo, skp, k5 tbl
Row 2. p4, p2tog tbl, sl yo with a new yo, sl yo with a new yo, p2tog, p4
Row 3. k3, k2tog, sl yo with a new yo, sl yo with a new yo, skp, k3
Row 4. p2, p2tog tbl, sl yo with a new yo, sl yo with a new yo, p2tog, p2
Row 5. k1, k2tog, sl yo with a new yo, sl yo with a new yo, skp, k1
Row 6. p2, yo, yo, yo, yo, purl all the yo’s tog, knit all the yo’s tog, yo, yo, yo, yo, p2
Row 7. yo, skp, k10 tbl, k2tog, yo
Row 8. sl yo with a new yo, p2tog, p8, p2tog tbl, sl yo with a new yo,
Row 9. sl yo with a new yo, skp, k6, k2tog, sl yo with a new yo,
Row 10. sl yo with a new yo, p2tog, p4, p2tog tbl, sl yo with a new yo
Row 11. sl yo with a new yo, skp, k2, k2tog, sl yo with a new yo
Row 12. knit all the yo’s tog, yo, yo, yo, yo, p4, yo, yo, yo, yo, purl all the yo’s tog,
Repeat rows 1-12.
