I just hate it. I love the end result. But I loathe the process. I may evaluate future projects on weather they must be blocked or not… I’ve just blocked 24 squares – about 1/2 of a blanket. The other half has been blocked and seamed a couple of weeks ago, and all the blocks have been ready to be blocked for at least 3 months. It took me 40 minutes, and I resented every single one of them. I also know I didn’t do a very good job, especially towards the end, as I was loosing patience. The last square has only 4 pins… I know I’m not the only one. I wish I were in one of the Russian villages where they make lace shawls – they often have designated ladies who do not knit to do the blocking for knitters.
