Hello! My name’s Leyla, and I’m the author of the Leafy Baby Blanket pattern.
I live in the South of France, and work in accounting during the daytime. In the evenings, while commuting, or in waiting rooms, I knit. Or crochet. I always have several projects on the go, at least two. One I work on at home, and one in my purse that goes with me everywhere.
Some facts about me:
- Despite being well into my 40s, I’m a Red Bull addict…
- Apart from knitting and crochet, I know how to do macramé and tatting
- I’d love to learn spinning
- I am a forever student – if I’m not enrolled in a study program, it means I’m looking at options. Currently studying Master’s in Accounting and Management
- I have a driving license, but never drive (more knitting time, right?)

I learned knitting in school but have not knite since then. I started again in december 2016.

My name is Samantha, and I live in the US with my husband and two cats. I learned to knit probably about 15 years ago, but only in the last year or two have I started to really “get serious” about knitting. It’s now my most treasured pastime, and brings me a lot of joy. I have a very stressful career and knitting allows me some time to breathe and relax.
I’m knitting this blanket for a dear friend who is having her first baby. I was inspired by a project I saw on Ravelry and I’ve chosen Malabrigo Rios in the color Lettuce.

Hi, my name is Sue. I live in the US in NH. I’ve been knitting since age 7 when I used to knit things for my dolls.
This will be my second leafy blanket. I knit this one https://ravel.me/SuzyQue/v2gzlg 3 years ago. It’s such a beautiful pattern! This time I’m knitting it for my newest grand baby (#14!) (by request).
