First time I’ve tried them for a new design/project of mine – a baby rattle. I sort of know what they are and how you do them, but I’ve never actually attempted to make one. And I have to say I more or less hate them – I now know that I should think twice about a shawl or a sweater that has them in large numbers. But I love the feel – and it’s perfect for my goal – a toy to develop tactical sense of a baby.
What techniques have only tried recently? How did you like them?
