Sunglasses Case – Quick knitting pattern

I had to buy new sunglasses this season, since last year’s pair got really scratched in my bag without a case. I hope the case will protect the new ones. It was a very quick knit in round using 3mm needles and Grignasco Champagne yarn (160m/50g, 75% wool, 25% silk). Feather and fan garter stitch based edge and plain vanilla main body.

I cast on 48 sts and joined the round

Rounds 1, 3 and 5 – purl

Rounds 2, 4 and 6 – (k1, k2 tog, k1, yo, k1,yo, k1, k2tog)

Then knit in stockinette stitch until long enough. I used Kitchener to seal the bottom edge, but you could also cast off and seam.
